Flying Boats: A Real Experience

I was on a journey towards work today.  My job starts at 7:00am, five days a week, and I live about 25 minutes away when you include the time it takes to park and the time it takes to key into the building, ect…

This is boring thus far, I know, but I promise you this short tale gets interesting.

Every morning is the same.  I set my alarm for 5:45, wake up, shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, drink tea, make a coffee for sipping pleasure at work, grab my lunch, my briefcase, my shoes, my keys, and hop into the old Volvo, “The Tank” if you will, and drive to work half asleep.

Today started out slightly different for a few minor reasons and one big fucking exciting reason.  Minor reasons: I hit the snooze button on my alarm, this I never do.  I also had to wait for a train to pass, this I hope doesn’t happen, but it did today.

The major reason for this morning being exciting is mainly, no, completely because I saw a flying boat.
