If Klein really claimed that the Tienanmen Square protests were against open market programs…holy shit.
That being said, Johan Norberg is against child labor laws because he thinks that the market resolves the issue by itself. It’d be really nice if economic analysts on both sides would stop apologizing for obvious issues with the basic forms of their preferred systems/authoritarian governments that use those systems for the sake of ideological purity.
