As long as we’re on the subject of how awful John McCain is, here’s an article by one Doug Thompson on the Senator’s history of racist, bigoted humor. Not only are the jokes incredibly offensive, but they’re also not at all funny. Here’s an example:
Two dykes are talking at a bar and one leaves. As she walks toward the door, the other watches her leave and says out loud: “God, I’ve love to eat her out.”
Two men are standing near by and one turns to the other and says: “I’d like to do the same. Guess that makes me a dyke.”
I guess the joke is that…straight men and lesbians both like women? LOL!!! Here’s one about those damned swarthy Mexicans:
Question: Why does Mexican beer have two “X’s” on the label?
Answer: Because wetbacks always need a co-signer.
Mexicans are drunks who can’t get a loan! You’re cracking me up, John! What was that great rape joke you had, again?
Did you hear the one about the woman who is attacked on the street by a gorilla, beaten senseless, raped repeatedly and left to die? When she finally regains consciousness and tries to speak, her doctor leans over to hear her sigh contently and to feebly ask, ‘Where is that marvelous ape?’
Ahahahaha! I can’t wait until you’re in charge of steering our nation’s domestic policy!
Now, this article is based on the author’s own hearsay (he claims to have heard McCain tell the jokes in a bar back in the 1980s), but given the well-documented case of him calling his own wife a cunt, this doesn’t sound at all out-of-character. But of course, all we’re going to hear this election are conservatives playing the victim and accusing the media of distorting all of their attacks on Obama as racist, while ignoring the plain fact that their candidate is a known bigot.
EDIT: According to a reliable source relayed in the comments, Thompson’s story is very likely made up. I’m not backing up on the cunt incident, though, since that’s always seemed decently referenced.
So, a bunch of people at the mag checked out the site, and apparently, there’s no genuine evidence of McCain being a bigot. Our eic is super anti-McCain–even wrote a book about the guy–but even he says there’s no truth to the lies.
Apparently, they’re no better than the Obama whitey tape stuff.
Hmmm. Oh well, we’ll always have cunt-gate.
Who do you believe, some anonymous poster who said Doug Thompson is a liar, or a website publisher who was burned for trusting lying sources in the past, and owned up to it, or Thompson whose published this website for years and just put his reputation on the line?
